Killorglin Energy Master Plan

Kerry Sustainable Energy Co Op and ORS, funded by the SEAI, created the Energy Master Plan to help the us understand the energy demand and supply in Killorglin, and the surrounding areas, now and into the future.

We started the project in 2019 with an online survey and community meetings. Since then we have carried out surveys of 8 residential and 5 non-residential buildings, and used data from the SEAI, CSO and Kerry County Council to create the full report.

We hope that the report will be of benefit by making clear how people can save money through energy use reduction, and see what other opportunities might be available for the community as a whole.

The report was launched at a public meeting, Wednesday 22nd February at the CMYS Hall.
